Blue7 is a Singapore based impact investor founded in late 2016. Over time, we evolved an investment strategy encompassing a multi asset class portfolio of private and listed sustainable and responsible businesses.
We directly support passionate entrepreneurs with bold and effective solutions addressing underserved needs in livelihood resilience, community development and environmental protection. We also invest in regional impact funds as well as global ESG scored listed equities.
Blue7 deploys a variety of catalytic capital instruments ranging from debt to equity. Working with partners in Asia and beyond, our portfolio operates to create long term value for society and the environment.

Juanita started Blue7 to look for viable solutions that tackle societal and environmental challenges. It is her belief that there can be sustainable models to address some of these problems through deploying capital in creative ways.
She is also a General Partner in a life science venture capital fund. Juanita has a BS from Columbia University and an MD from the University of Southern California.
MA Hui Hsing
Hui Hsing has a career in global healthcare investment, corporate finance and general management based primarily in Singapore, London and Munich. Her volunteer experience is in child welfare, education and livelihood in Southeast Asia. She is now dedicated to help businesses rebalance responsibilities to multi stakeholders and ESG excellence.
Hui Hsing holds a MS in Biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University, USA; a MBA from Manchester Business School, UK; and, a BAcc from the National University of Singapore.
KUA Qiu Quan
Qiu Quan believes strongly in the role of capital markets in international development. Prior to Blue7, he worked with the finance team of a Geneva-based foundation, and with a Singapore based social impact consultancy firm.
He holds a Master's degree in Development Studies, from IHEID in Geneva, Switzerland, with a research focus on impact investing, and a BSS (Hons) in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
SEE Kwong Ee
Kwong Ee has dedicated his life to effecting genuine, enduring, and life-changing, impact on the people around him, through his experiences serving in the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. While serving as a graduate student at Harvard University, he is learning about the personal sacrifice required for the development of people. Prior to Blue7, Kwong Ee has served in multilateral institutional endeavours committed to corporate sustainability; in local grassroots outreach efforts; in fundamental alpha-seeking investment analysis; and in bio-pharmaceutical research.
Kwong Ee has a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology (Honors, with Distinction) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jianxin is a firm believer in humanity and community. Throughout her four years in university, Jianxin worked very closely with the school office to promote diversity, inclusion and integration in the university and the larger community. Prior to Blue7, she also had experience working in the field of accounting and market research.
Jianxin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Singapore Management University.
Dara foresees the increased prioritisation of impact investment as consumers begin to reward corporations for implementing ethical frameworks. She has volunteered her time in low-income, foster care, and hospice communities, assisting them with curriculum development and implementation. Prior to Blue7, Dara worked for an ASEAN-focused equity research firm and evaluated portfolio performance for a biotech fund manger.
Dara is currently completing a B.A. (Honours) in Philosophy, with a specialisation in phenomenology at Yale-NUS College.
